Dear students, Assalam o Alaikum:

On behalf of the teachers and administration, a very warm welcome to the academic year, 2020-21. We hope and pray that this year will be exciting and fruitful for all of us (as well as the rest of our Ummat); and that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala will protect us from all sorts of trials and tribulations, in the new academic year, as well as in the future. Hopefully, these testing times also resulted in more quality time with family, as well as rethinking of our priorities in life.

Alhamdulillah, with the Grace of The Almighty, for almost all subjects and classes at Scholastic Ibne Umar campus, more than ninety percent of the  ‘Learning Objectives’/ Targets were completed in the last academic year.  The on-line classes also made us discover the vast potential for improving the quality of academic instruction with the help of on-line resources. Hence, from now on, we plan to use a hybrid of on-line as well as face-to-face classes, for instruction. Even after the school campus is open (hopefully in September) for students InShaAllah, you should expect some of the instruction, especially in English, Math and Science to take place through the LMS (learning management system).  This we hope will increase the quality of instruction, allow customization of pace for different students (e.g. for Hifz students), lower the costs (e.g. Junior school students will not have to buy the English textbook this year; see https://scholastic.edu.pk/book-list-2019-20/), and yet less prone to the negative effects of outside disruptions, for our students.
